   3.5 miles of hills. Go early; there's no shade.

   Free. The Gates of Hell, outdoors.

5. The HP Garage

   367 Addison Ave. It's a garage. You'll take a photo anyway.

6. Filoli's gardens

   Spring for tulips, late summer for dahlias.
