Common questions
Who can see my posts?
Whoever you chose when you posted: everyone, friends, or only you. You can change it later from the post's ⋯ menu → Edit. Your page can be switched off entirely in Settings → Your page.
How do friends and following differ?
Following shows you someone's public posts; anyone can follow a public page. Friends are mutual — both of you agree — and see each other's friends-only posts too.
Something in my feed shouldn't be there.
Every post has ⋯ → Report, and every person ⋯ → Block. Blocking hides you from each other completely. Reports are read by a person and acted on under the terms.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. It's immediate and complete: trips, check-ins, stories, photos, comments and likes go with it. There is no grace period and nothing is kept.
Where does my location go?
Nowhere unless you tap "Use my location" in the check-in form, and then only to suggest places near you. The only location saved is the place you pick. Photos have their location data removed on upload. More in Privacy.
Is it really free?
Yes, and it stays free. No ads, no data sold, no premium tier. Snufkins is paid for by nobody, so nothing here is for sale — including you.
